„Viktor Reich“ gehört zu den eher untypischen Songs aus dem breit gefächerten Repertoire von Jonny hates Rock, was vor allem daran liegt, dass er das letzte übriggebliebene Original in deutscher Sprache ist, das zumindest hin und wieder noch live gespielt. Ursprünglich von Bassist Olaf Kaiser bereits 2002 für seine damalige Band geschrieben, wurde der Song neu arrangiert und als hidden track auf die CD „canciones serias para noches tristes“ gepresst. Es ist ein Song über all jene, deren Streben nach Geld und Reichtum im Mittelpunkt des Lebens steht, weil sie glauben, Reichtum öffne alle Türen. Sie wollen Anerkennung, aber sie merken nicht, dass sie das vordergründige Gefühl von Allmacht, Kompetenz und Geltung nur eintauschen gegen innere Abgestumpftheit, seelische Kälte und Ignoranz gegenüber ihrer Umwelt und den Menschen, die sie umgeben. Mit Geld könne man sich alles kaufen, glauben sie, aber das ist eine trügerische Illusion, denn das wichtigste im Leben lässt sich auch mit allem Geld der Welt nicht erwerben: Glück, Liebe und Gesundheit.
